NAxtra™ is a magnetic bead-based technology intended for RNA and DNA extraction from human nasopharyngeal and/or oropharyngeal swab samples, saliva, urine or vaginal swab samples. The product should be used for isolation and purification of bacterial or viral nucleic acids preparing clinical samples for downstream qualitative diagnostics and analysis, such as PCR and next- generation sequencing.

Lybe Scientific is based on patent pending technology originating from strong research groups within molecular medicine, nanotechnology and chemical engineering at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) located in Trondheim, Norway.

We have established an ISO13485 Quality Management System and our products for diagnostic use will be CE IVD-marked in compliance with The In Vitro Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR). Our vision is to develop high quality and cost effective solutions for a wide range of life science and clinical diagnostic purposes.

Quality policy: Company develops, manufactures and sells In Vitro Diagnostic products that meet or exceed hospital requirements for qualitative molecular diagnostic products. Research and Development runs alongside the production to continuously enhance and improve the performance of the products.
