Eirin Johannessen Starheim is a PhD candidate pursuing her doctoral work in a collaboration project between NTNU and Lybe Scientific. The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway.
Earlier this month she and a research team from NTNU, University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital got an original peer-reviewed paper accepted for publication in the Nature Publishing Group journal Scientific Reports. The publication is entitled; “NAxtra™ magnetic nanoparticles for low-cost, efficient isolation of mammalian DNA and RNA». The paper presents our NAxtra™ technology used in simple, low- and high-throughput, efficient methods for isolation of high-integrity total nucleic acid, DNA or RNA from mammalian cell lines (monolayer) and organoids (3D-cultures).
We are so happy to showcase these nice results from Eirin and the rests of the team’s hard work!
